Got up this morning at 6:00 a.m. when my son told me our dog had thrown up twice. He put her outside as I cleaned and when I went out to check on her, she had been sick in other ways. Poor dog. I put her in her bed with her blanket on her and she hasn't moved. Usually she greets me at the door after I drive the kids to school, but not today. My sidekick has been kicked by some bug. I would say she had gotten into some food, but nothing was left out. Not like last week when she stood up to the counter and ate the leftover bacon. No, last night her dog food was left untouched and the kitchen was clean.

I've heard of a canine flu, going around. Hope she's better, soon.

Gracie was the same way a couple of days ago. Barf, no appetite, and just slept all day. She's recovered. Hope Abbey has too!

ReplyDeleteGlad to hear she is better! It is heart breaking when they are sick because they can't tell you what's wrong. Good luck with her.
