Flower Power

Here is a sampling of flower photos taken this past week.
I was practicing on depth of field.
This last photo was taken by my daughter. I'm standing in the background. Love shots of me like this one. Incognito!
Looks like a painting to me.

Pelican Point

During our stay in Rosarito we found that the Pelicans loved the point just outside our place. Here are just a few shots that I took of them. I never realized that I could shoot so many pics of pelicans. I think they are such funny looking birds. They take on a character of their own, don't they?

Rosarito, Mexico

Rosarito, Mexico was our destination during this week's spring break. We stayed in a wonderful area; beach front home with all the amenities you could ask for. Here are just a few pics of my oldest sitting around the complex.
The kids played cards and surfed. We built rock pillars, took a ton of pics of pelicans and flowers, ate and slept. The boys had the downstairs bedrooms and all they had to do was rollover to check out the surf. It doesn't get much better than that!

Senior Business Cards

I made business cards for Mags to hand out to her friends. On the back, they have her email address and other info that she wants them to have so they can all keep in touch during their college years. They are 3 1/2 by 2, luster finish on the front, double thick and writable backing.
Contact me if you would like some for your kids!
((Hard to believe I have a college student.))

National Charity League Presentation 2011

If I ever wanted to get a preview of what it would be like to see my daughter in a wedding gown, this weekend was it. We had our NCL Presentation, different than a Debutant Ball, it was to celebrate years of community service. I usually have my camera clamped to my hand, but this time, I barely took any photos. I would say I took maybe at best, fifteen pics. Do I regret that decision? Yes and no. If circumstances had been different, different location of our seats, wearing comfortable clothes, lower heals, (had 6" heals on) I probably would have been moving around. It wasn't a good evening for me. I was the fish out of water, flopping on the side of the dance floor.
